Important Information

The My Movies 5 for Windows installer can be used on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 installed.

The My Movies 5 Home and Essentials installer can be used on Windows Home Server 2011 or on Windows Server 2012 Essentials, or with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 or 2022 with the Essentials Role installed. Note! The Essentials Role is not available on Windows Server 2019 and 2022, but can be installed without support (link).

There is only these two installers available, which covers all functionalities, including Server Solution features, Collection Management features and Windows Media Center features on devices where Windows Media Center is installed. The installers on Windows 11, 10, 8/8.1 and 7 covers both X86 and X64 installations, and operations in either Server, Client or Standalone modes.

Always remember to create a database backup before upgrading!

Users upgrading from a version prior to 5.20, please read the information on this page.

* The Essentials Role is not available on Windows Server 2019 and 2022, but can be installed without support (link).

My Movies may not be pre-installed on commercial products, nor in any way redistributed or provided to end-users by installers that is not part of our installer program.
