I have a collection with lots of movies and series on DVD and Blu-Raya and I use the Pro version of the app for Android.
I recently tried to install the app on Windows and it deleted my entire database.
Fortunately, I saved the “My Movies .txt / .csv ” files but I can't upload to retrieve the added titles.
I also have old backups with photos of Backdrops/Posters/Covers etc. and various .xml or .mmd / .mmdb files .
Would anyone know how to help me retrieve some backups and be able to synchronize with the android app I currently use which deleted everything after the initial use of the pc version.
Thank you very much!!

Your titles have not been deleted randomly, you have used the clear collection function which clears everything on these dates:

You cannot import from the TXT/CSV file, but you can choose to restore your database backup from Windows, and choose to overwrite what is in the service, with the titles in the backup.

There is a double checkbox warning when using the clear collection function - you should NEVER use this if you do not want to totally clear the collection on all platforms.

Thank you for your reply, could you point me to the steps and a more precise guide to overwrite with the various backup files I have ?
Especially for the .xml or .mmd / .mmdb files that I already have after various backups ?
Thank you

You use the file menu in Collection Management, and select restore database.

Thank you for your reply, when I open “Collection Managment” and then “Restore Database” it opens my old backups folder with only Backdrops/Posters/Covers etc. photos and not the various .xml or .mmd / .mmdb files .
I can't figure out what extension the “Backup Database ” must have to do the restore of my old and now non-existent database. Currently it only shows me the various photos of my physical titles but does not import them being images. What could I do ?

To restore from a backup database you want to restore Backup.mmd. Hopefully you have been doing database backups after you make changes to your collection. There are no automatic backups except to the online db through data syncs

These .MMD files were made in 2023 when the collection was intergra and complete , now it is empty evidently due to my mistake. That is why I wanted to at least use those old and historical Backups to recover at least some data currently lost due to my fault. Thanks
