OK, I received an email from My Movies 5 stating that I could purchase a yearly recurring subscription for either:
Android - $9.99 USD
NEW premium cross-platform subscription - $19.99 USD
So, how do I set up this yearly recurring payment? Which product do I select to pay for?
Take my money, please - I want to support the software, but it is confusing and unclear.
See text from the email:
The My Movies mobile applications are offered both in a subscription-based purchase model and a direct app purchase of the Pro version. We aim to release a new major version every two years, where users on a subscription will automatically receive updates. Users of the Pro version of the app are offered a half-price upgrade but can choose to stay on their current version. However, the older version will not receive further updates and therefore cannot be guaranteed to work on future OS versions or device models.
We are offering a permanent 30% discount on the yearly subscription for Android at $9.99. Additionally, a new premium cross-platform subscription option is available, covering Android, iPhone, iPad, macOS, Windows, and Web. This is available at a permanent half-price yearly subscription of $19.99. The alternative to the subscription models is the My Movies 5 Pro version, available as a one-time purchase, specifically for version 5 only, covering Android at $14.99.
We hope that you will support our continued development, service, and support by either subscribing or purchasing the My Movies 5 Pro upgrade. The offers end on December 31st. Users who would like to upgrade after this date can do so at the standard price. We really hope that you choose to upgrade to help ensure the future of My Movies.

I found it confusing as well.. The way I did it.. I signed up for the $9.99 a year access for my mobile devices so that I can sync my entire library to my mobile device.
As for the desktop, I only use it for cataloging my movies and never needed the extra features that all those points gave you. I assumed if you went with the $20 a year subscription, that it would open up the desktop app as if you had 2500 points on your account.. If it doesn't, then I have no clue what the $20 subscription gives you....
