I have been using My Movies Collection Management for Years. When I initially got it I have and used a Nimbie Dvd and Blu ray auto loader to rip all my DVD's which was a godsend. Having done that I had no need to touch it again for years - now I do and I can't get it to work. It's still advertised on the My Movies site as an option and the controls are still visible in the program but I just cant get it to start

Googling about I saw something about Anydvd not working anymore so I tried installing QQgettray and QQbox pro but neither of them can find or recognise the Nimbie changer

I am totally lost now - is there a way I can get the Nimbie to still rip DVDs & Blu Rays to the drive so I can put them in My Movies Collection - don't even mind manually adding but I just need a way to use the Nimbie to rip thedisks

Sorry I am not sure I understand, what is "the server solution parts"? Are you saying you have abandoned MY Movies Home and Essentials Server Solution or My Movies Collection Management or Support for Nimbie, or all 3 ? I can still see Nimbie advertised on the My Movies web page?

Do I need to upgrade or something or is there just now zero support or utililty for the Nimbie I bought?

If there is no "official' solution - does anyone in the community have any suggestions please or are we saying the Nimbie is just binned now

thanks

The whole server solution parts are being deprecated.

You can still use the Nimbie, but without AnyDVD*, which is no longer functional, you would have disc that are copy protected.

We are not looking to add support for other of such products, and therefore it is considered unsupported.

Your Nimbie is not binned - but are deprecating the parts used.
