VLC requires you to point to the "BDMV" package under a ripped Blu-ray folder (e.g., ripped by AnyDVD* HD, DVDFab, etc.). However, when I try to point MyMovies to this file (vs. pointing it to the ripped BD parent folder), I get a popup saying "The AFP (Apple File Protocol) share is only supported on Mac OS X. It is recommended to instead use SMB shares, which can be transferred across platforms. Would you like to continue with using the AFP share anyways?" This happens even though I _AM_ using an SMB path. I'm guessing that SMB doesn't support this package concept, and so MyMovies is trying to automatically switch to AFP, and then complaining about it? Is there a way to get this working for both Windows and Mac OS X versions of MyMovies?

* Installing and/or using AnyDVD is illegal in some countries. Users are themselves responsible for complying with local law when installing and using AnyDVD.

The app does not switch to AFP, so you should only see this message if the share selected in the finder was an AFP one, although they may look similar.

The app does not support the approach with the BDMV folder, so you won't get this to work, sorry.

We are generally deprecation the options of the apps acting as a front-end for playback.
