I just saw that, after some synchronization of my collection, a whole bunch of entries got assigned the same collection number. It seems to be all movie collections that have been rearranged within the Data Base. See screenshot. All of those have been older entries.

I was on an older 5.4 version (likely 5.41 pre), but have updated to the current 5.41 now after I realized the effect. No change though.

This looks like an old bug in the reset collection numbers feature.

The already set collection numbers will carry over - new versions will not correct any incorrect numbers.

If you do not have titles labelled with collection numbers of your shelf, I would suggest running the reset collection numbers function.

Yes, I figured that a new MM version won't touch them numbers. That update was just to cover all bases.

I did reset the numbers.

Didn't work....

I did:
1. renumber collection (sorted by number)- those collections stayed with 3287
2. Optimize DB
3. repeated renumber - no change
4. sorted by name
5 renumber collection. Regular collection ends with 3204 as highest number, than comr the collections still all with 3287

Remark: They are ONLY film-collections. The discs remain seperate.
