I've been a long time user of DVD Profiler. But it looks like it is dying a slow death.

I followed the steps to export my DVD Profiler to a XML file.

I'm following the steps that are documented for doing the export out of DVD Profiler to an XML file.

I've logged in with my account. And go thru the steps and i'm on the last page.

I click the 'Browse' button and select the Collection.xml file.

After opening the file, I get the following message in RED under the filename - File type is not allowed

HELP

I did make a copy and zip up the file. I get the same 'File type is not allowed" message for the zip file as well.

I was using Edge. I decided to just scan my collection instead.

Yes, Microsoft Edge was the browser I was using. I tried both the file select and drag/drop options. Both had the same error. I re-exported DVD Profiler with All Profiles selected and none of the optional features selected, so just the bare bones and still had the error. I am emailing the file now.

I ran into this same issue when I first attempted the import of my DVD Profiler .xml export. After attempting a few different ways, it finally worked for me when I made sure to select the option to allow from all countries (as recommended). I had neglected to do that on the prior attempts. Once I did that, it was successful when I did so as a .zip file, using the drag-n-drop method. I didn't try any other method since this worked fine for me.
