We are aware that it have not been prioritized enough. There are likely some technical things we need to make a pass on - like for instance there have been various questions on configuration on NFS, and we at this time to not have the expertise to help with setting this up.

I'm sure that people like Scottj (and I) will continue to help dune users with dune problems, not obviously related to MM, here and on other forums . This should help you to focus on purely MM related issues ;)

I'm very proficient in My Movies but setting up a Dune is a new experience for me. I'm sure it's a minor over-site on my part which I hope someone can answer.

Hi Brian, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, My Movies CM 4.07 and a DUNE Duo with two harddisks in it. Eyerything has worked fine, until a few days ago. When I tried to open a DVD from my iPad, I always get the message: "Connection error failed to launch dvd playback" My iPad is connected to my network, I can also use the iPad as a remote control for the DUNE. When I have a look at my online collection, every DVD is there. Here are my settings: What can I do to fix this failure? File Attachment(s):

did you recently updated your dune firmware ? You should use the latest B8, B6 had a bug that broke the dune path when launched from the MM ipad app.

Okay, I had the b6 FW. Now I try to update it to b8 (beta) and hope, everything will work fine ...
Edit: No, it doesn't work. I have the same message as before: "Connection error failed to launch dvd playback" :(

Did you try to check the dune setup and change the "dvd engine" option ? (sorry can't remember where it is exactly). If you use the dune UI basic browser can you play the movie ?

What do you mean "change the DVD engine"? And in the basic browser I can start every movie manually...

"DVD engine" is an option in the fine setup. But if it's working its not the problem. What kind of files are you trying to read ? Basic browser is working but if you use mm ui on your dune (not the app) and try to launch a movie with it, is it working ?
