I can confirm this as well. (iMac running High Sierra 10.13.4). Strangely, I never had this issue with any of the pre-release versions.

It works with a other user on the computer with my login.
What can I do to repair it on my own session ?

Does the new My Movies need to be connected to the internet in order to look at one's own collection? (I understand you need to be connected to the internet to add a title to your collection).

The Mede8er support was available in My Movies 1, and have simply been transferred to My Movies 2.

The meta-data storage for Dune is a much more significant development, and while it was early in the process considered, it have never been on the table for My Movies 2.

I am not sure why you have waiting on something that was never confirmed as part of the development plans?

"Ever growing" I think you need to find some backing for - from our perspective, without having the numbers, all media players are significantly decreasing in usage, including Dune.

Dune have recently created their own build in library option, and with the many limitations a pre-build index has, it simply does not make sense for us to spend the time on this on Mac.

We were working on an HTML based interface, where we considered creating API functions for Mac for this, but Dune removed the Opera browser option from latest models, which was the only one fast enough for this.

So, the Dune and Mac is not in our radar currently, sorry.

Do you have a suggestion to make Mymoovies 2 work ?
It works on another cession and not on my usual admin cession.
What do I have to uninstall ?

Where is data stored? Is it written to the folder where the media file (MKV in my case) is or is it stored in a database or folder on my Mac?

Best way to use this with media stored on a NAS and served out via Plex?

To be honest.. I do not want to deposit any more money on any my movie product.. I have paid for the full server solution so that I could get the most out of the software. The thing is just that some key functions do not work, I have tried to go in to the forum and asked for advice and help.... But nothing... And now I have to pay more money to this broken software???

If I have to pay just one cent more for this software do it have to work...
I don't pay for broken stuff and hope for a fix later on...
I will gladly pay for stuff there's working at the moment I pay for it...

I have been looking for an alternative (maybe even code my own selution) to finally get my system up and running... Now that I have been turned on...

i'm having the same issue as user edegan, run the new MMP2 and nothing happens. MMP1 still works, i uploaded all my offline data without issue, logged out of MMP1 but nothing when i launch MMP2? any update? my console shows these entries:

I am having the same issue as others, nothing happens when I open the new My Movies Pro. I do not have a second account on the mac.

This has been an issue since the start of May. I got a message on my phone about the new version 2. Why are you pushing a product you KNOW does not work?

Will we get a refund?
