Hi All,
Long time user of the app, or should I say long time since I used the app. Last time I used it was back in 2014 or 2015, when it was my movie 2.
Long story short, I downloaded the new app today My movie 5 and was glad to see my collection is still here.
Now, I'm looking for a way to export the data so that they can be reimported on other accounts. I have split my collection between my kids.
I want to: - export my collection as a CSV - split the files in three - reimport (overwrite) my collection with the remaining titles - import in their apps the titles they get.
Can it be done from the iOS app ? If not, from the online catalog ? I couldn't find how to do it.
Thanks,

There is no way to do this.
There is a copy collection function in the app, but that is to copy the full collection. when you say "there is no way to do this", what does the import feature do on the website version? There is an option to import with csv or txt. While i did see a warning that importing would overwrite the current database, it sounds like this might work for the purpose asked about in this thread. File Attachment(s):

i assume the ios app to be similar to the android app. i use android. In the settings menu there is an item to export the collection as either csv or txt. In my reply above this i am waiting on confirmation that you can in fact import the cvs file using the online collection website. If i understand it correctly, it would import and overwrite completly the current collection. that sounds like what you want though anyway...

Yes, it is the import feature. The import feature is created to import from other applications into our service. It is not created as a data import for own exports. The apps have a "Copy collection" function, and, the user accounts acts as backup. Therefore, there are no an option to do what you are asking. The closest would be to use the copy collection to copy to different other user accounts, and then delete titles that should not be there on the individual.
