Hi,

MyMoviesPro 5.01 Build 10, Pixel 8a with build BP1A.250305.019 (Android version 15, current).

I have a DVD in my collection that I'm trying to import the cover scans for. Which were JPG format, originally 150 DPI (but scaled to 600x850 or so) from a flatbed via xsane, imported/uploaded to Google Photos.

Which, as the application takes me directly to Google Photos, saying "Select a photo" when I select "IMPORT FULL COVER SCAN" (as opposed to allowing me to browse any local or cloud storage), would seem to be the correct/intended approach.

When I attempt to import a scan, I check the boxes, navigate/select the image - and get the error

Quote:

Error

Failed to prepare image from device: Error fixing image orientation: source file path is
null

I found & read the Cover Art Submission Standards- read if you are uploading cover art sticky.

I tried with the suggested 600 DPI tiff - and get precisely the same error message and nothing imported.

Little help? This didn't work for me in MyMoviesPro v4 either...

File Attachment(s):
krautrock-Part5-rear.tiff (706kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

spuggy attached the following image(s):

Can you try to attach your file here?

Added the 2 jpgs and the rear TIFF to the original post, thanks!

I suspect it's the tools/method I'm using - always had the same results ..

Hi,

Is this now a known issue, in the queue to be looked - or do I need to provide any further information etc?

Thanks.
