I somehow got a "private" Movie in my database, associated with a disk Title. I believe the "private Movie" was attached automatically when I populated the IMDB-ID field in the Title record. The IMDB-ID is correct, but it wasn't a "public Movie", nor was it a newly created not-yet-submitted Movie (icon with slash). When I try to "Contribute Movie Data" with updates for this Movie, it gives me an error "There is already another title in the service with this IMDB id."
I have been assured there is a "public Movie" with this IMDB-ID that has been in the central database since January 2024, but somehow that's not what I'm getting when I populate the IMDB-ID field in a Title. I'm assuming the "private Movie" is somewhere in my local database, and thus interfering with my ability to download the "public Movie" record. I have tried to use the "Delete Movie" function, but it does not delete it. I have tried changing the IMDB-ID to "tt0000000" so the Movie is no longer attached to the Title so I can delete it, but I am unable to locate it. I have tried doing database cleanup while the "private Movie" is not referenced by any Title, but that didn't clear it.
How do I locate and delete the "private Movie"? The IMDB-ID is "tt0026762" ("The Girl from Marsh Croft").
I'm running 5.41. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
