Hello, I think I need help, at least I don't know how to proceed.

Situation:
There are two movies with the name "The Old Man and the Sea":
Movie A) was a theatrical release in the year 1958 (see here, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052027),
B) was a TV-Movie as a remake in the year 1990 (see here, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100288).

On October 23rd, 2025, movie A) was released as a Mediabook (Blu-Ray + DVD) in Germany with the Barcode/EAN 4020628548803 (see here, https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Old-Man-and-the-Sea-Blu-ray/393088/ and here, https://bluray-disc.de/blu-ray-filme/199572-der_alte_mann_und_das_meer_1958_limited_mediabook_edition_bluray_dvd)

Problem:
A user added the Disc Title for the country Germany with the Barcode/EAN 4020628548803 to the service, but linked the TV-Movie B) to the Disc Title, NOT the correct movie A). So the TV-movie B) has to be unlinked from the Disc Title and the correct movie A) has to be linked to the title.
Yes, I could add a second Disc Title with the correct movie A) to the service, but as far as I understand, then we will have two Disc Titles with the Barcode/EAN 4020628548803 on the service, which should be avoided at all costs.

I don't know how to unlink a movie from a Disc Title when both are linked on the service, so I guess I need help from support here.

Thank you in advance.

Movies are linked to disc titles by the IMDB code (ttxxxxxxx). You would need to file a correction ticket for the incorrect disc title explaining the above and provide the correct IMDB code for the movie in question.

Once the disc has been created and added to the database, a moderator would need to make the IMDB change, a general user like you and I can't make that change.

Hello, thank you for your answer.

Well, I did exactly that before I created this topic. I got an E-Mail back with "The reported errors have been verified and corrected.", but they are NOT corrected and the wrong movie is still linked to the Disc Title. This is why I created this topic.
Guess I will have to send another Error Report or an EMail to Brian, then.
Thank you.
