Enhance Your Movie Collection

The My Movies Collection Management product lets you maintain and manage your entire movie collection, letting you add your movies with high-quality metadata from online data service containing data for more than 750,000 Blu-ray, DVD and HD DVD titles from various countries. You can either manage titles that you have stored on your computer, or home storage device, or you can manage titles you have on the shelf in your home, to bring you in control of which movies you have, including all the details about each movie.

You can also use the My Movies Collection Management product to store our high-quality movie metadata for a large selection of media players and media center software. To get the most impressive experience of your collection use the Collection Management together with our My Movies for Windows Media Center and experience how easy it is to manage and use your collection.

Create, Manage and Maintain Your Collection
My Movies Collection Management lets you easily create your collection based on our high-quality metadata. You can add titles to your collection using the camera barcode scanner, by typing the barcode or title, by automatic identification of an inserted disc or by searching a calendar with released and upcoming titles. Besides from single titles you can add TV-series divided into seasons and episodes with data for each individual episode and box sets with detailed data for each disc.
In addition to retail titles, you can add personal titles such as wedding or birthday videos.
Alternatively you can add titles by adding folders containing titles stored on your hard drive or server, and they will automatically be identified and imported to your collection. To ease the maintenance of you stored titles, the Collection Management can monitor a folder, and automatically add new titles to your collection when they are added to the monitored folder.
To get an overview of your collection you can search for a specific title or create custom filters from a selection of specifications such as group, types, genre, watched status and more, to easily access the titles you are looking for.


Expand the Use of Your Collection with Metadata
The Collection Management can save metadata to use for a variety of different units and contexts, as well as saving the front cover and high-quality backdrops in the movie folder. The supported metadata types are:

The Collection Management has a built-in API functionality, from where you can query the My Movies database and use the metadata in various control systems such as Control4 and others to integrate your movie collection in your home setting.

Personalize
For each title in your collection you can add personal data such as rating, purchase date and price, notes, tags, local trailer and much more. In the personal data you can also register if you loan your movie to a friend, and when you expect it back, thereby you always know where your movies are at.
Beside from the standard groups your movies are divided into, you can create custom groups to assign your titles to.
My Movies is suited for families, and therefore it offers a password protected parental control according to the rating standards. You can choose to activate the parental control to prompt for password when you open the Collection Management, to ensure that your children will not be exposed to content not suited for their age.

One Account - Several Clients
My Movies product suite contains My Movies for iPhone, My Movies for iPad and My Movies for Android as well as My Movies for Mac OS X, allowing you to access your collection on these. To use My Movies products you need an account that will follow you through all the applications, allowing you to switch between different clients and thereby have access to your collection at all times, even if you are on the road. When your collection is synchronized, it will automatically be synchronized to the other clients.

Mobile Clients
No need for a remote control, for easy browsing the My Movies mobile clients offers a fully functioning remote control for Windows Media Center and Dune players.
Instead of bringing all your movies over to your computer and adding them by typing in the title or the barcode, you can just bring your mobile device to your movie shelf and add your entire collection quickly by using the batch scanning function in these devices.

Copy Discs to Your Storage
My Movies offers a copy disc feature which allows you to copy DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray titles* to your computer or network storage. During the copy process your disc will automatically be identified through our online service, and the disc will be added to your collection with high quality metadata.

Share Your Collection
Your collection is available in an online version, which you can access from anywhere, or share the link for others to see what is in your collection. If you wish your online collection to be private or only accessible to a few, you can protect it with a password. The online version of your collection can be configured to only show certain groups, allowing you for instance to make a wish or sales list. See Demonstration collection.
You can also create a PDF with a list of your collection that you can share with others or keep as documentation of your collection.

Contribute to the Online Data Service
If you have a title that is not in our database or you find incorrect data you can contribute with the new data, and thereby earn contribution points which unlocks extended features in the My Movies product suite. Read more about contribution points here. All contributions are tracked and you can view all contributions made on a title.
When you contribute a cover image you can use the image editor in the program to ensure that the cover follows our contribution guidelines.

Windows Media Center
The Collection Management and My Movies for Windows Media Center works seaming less together giving you a whole new experience of your collection. Use the Collection Management to create and manage your collection, and use My Movies for Windows Media Center to easily browse and access your collection. Changes made through the Collection Management is instantly available in My Movies for Windows Media Center and vice versa. If your titles are stored you can start playback directly from the Media Center, and you can even skip the intro and trailers of the title and go directly to the beginning of the movie.
The Collection Management offers a variety of option settings for My Movies for Windows Media Center, allowing you to customize the interface and settings to your liking. If you prefer a different player than the internal one in Windows Media Center, you can configure which movie types should be played with a select number of external players, where more players can be configured by the expert user.

Installer package for My Movies Collection Management. If you wish to use the Collection Management together with the My Movies for Windows Media Center, you only have to download the installer package for My Movies for Windows Media Center which contains both programs.
