Upgrade Options Explained

My Movies 5 is now available as a significantly improved version over My Movies 4, and there are different upgrade options available for you to choose from.

We aim to release a new major release every second year on iPhone/iPad on years ending on a not equal number, and on Android on years ending with an equal number.

Where upgrades previously have been offered for a Pro version at a discount, you can now choose between discounted yearly subscriptions, or a purchase of the Pro version of the app.

- The discounted subscriptions are yearly, and the subscription amount is re-occurring until cancelled. Users on a subscription is at any time upgraded to tha latest version of the app, also when a new major version is released.

- The Pro version of the app is an app purchase, where you will receive updates until a new major version is released every second year, where you will be offered a half price upgrade during the release month. Unlike the subscription, upgrading is optional, and you can choose not to upgrade - upgrading outside of the release month with the upgrade offer will be at full price, or by adopting the subscription model.

The subscription offers are the recommended offer, as you at any time will be running the lastest version of the app, while the Pro version as an app purchase cannot be guaranteed to work on new OS versions and device models, after a new major version is relased, as it then will not receive further updates.

You will until December 31'st have the following discounted upgrade options:

- The cross-platform premium subscription at a permanent 50% discount, at $19.99 (USD), €22.99 or §19.99. The payment is yearly (Recommended).

- The iPhone/iPad standard subscription at a permanent 30% discount, at $9.99, €9.99 or £8.99. The payment is yearly.

- The Pro version as an app purchase with a 50% discount, at $14.99, €17.99 or £14.99. The payment is a one-time purchase for My Movies 5, with optional offers to upgrade at half price every second year.

We recommend the cross-platform premium subscription, which will cover full functionality on all the platforms we have available, iPhone/iPad, Android, Windows, Mac OS X and Web (Web is under development).

Notice! If you create a subscription with a discount, and the subscription is cancelled, you cannot create it again with the rebate.
